Just a quick note about the site: If you get an error saying the page is temporarily unavailable, to check back in five minutes, all you really need to do is right-click the page and hit Refresh; that will usually fix it. If not just try again, cause you definitely don't have to wait five minutes. And I know it says it's only $5 to upgrade the service and eliminate the problem, but that's $5 I can't afford right now.

A new version of Bash HTML Editor, version 3.4.3 is now online. This version continues where the last one left off in terms of enhancing the program's appearence. Now the menus have icons in them, and there are several options for customizing menu effects.

Other improvements include being able to access the recently used documents list from the Open toolbar button and the ability to add your own scripts to the Scripts window. All of these changes have been made while reducing the size of the setup program by 300k.

Bash HTML Editor v3.4.2 is now available and fixes a major bug with running under Windows XP. It also gives the program the XP-makeover, with better looking toolbar icons. A few other improvements have also been made.

After months of trying to get Deskbolt to run under XP, by creating it on my Windows 98 machine, then having others beta-test it to see if it works, earlier this week I finally got XP for myself. Thus, Deskbolt version 1.1 is now available and fully working on XP/2K/NT.

A new section is now open for freeware programs. The first free program is called Uptime and simply places a label on your desktop indicating how long your computer has been on. There are many different options for customizing it's appearence and behavior, including the colors, font styles, and an optional background image. Uptime is only 460k in size.

A new version of Bash HTML Editor has now been released. Version 3.4.1 mostly just fixes a few minor bugs with the FTP client, but if you use the client very often it's worth the update.

Deskbolt version 1.0.1 is now available. The only change is that now the cursor is visible, but limited to the password textbox. This is so that if the program loses focus you can still enter in a password. The main reason for this release is because the installer will now check if you have the required runtime files and download them for you if you don't. In version 1.0 you would have to download them from Microsoft's site if they were missing.

Bash HTML Editor version 3.4 is now online. This latest version adds several keyboard shortcuts, some improvements to the FTP client, the ability to select multiple lines of text and insert a linebreak at the end of each, a couple of bug fixes, and more.

Also, a new version of Deskbolt will be released over the next couple of days. There still is no support for Windows NT/2K/XP (after weeks of beta-testing new methods it is still unreliable), but it will fix a minor bug and the installer will now check if you have the correct runtimes beforehand, downloading them for you if you don't.
